- First, open Microsoft Word or Microsoft PowerPoint. You may also use whatever software you’re comfortable with. The basic steps are the same anyway.
- Format your document. Set the paper size, margins, and orientation of your document. All these depend on what you’re planning to make. You can use a landscape orientation when making certificates, cards, and other printables. On the other hand, you can use a portrait orientation. This is helpful for making letters, stationery, and worksheets. Once you’ve finished the formatting, open your browser and go to your choice of search engine.
